Hi, I said I’d post a picture of my Rickenbacker 1995 (615) when it was back from repair. Here it is. I believe only 50 were exported and they didn’t sell well. But in my opinion it’s a great guitar. Compared to the 1998 it’s brighter with a tighter and more defined bass, less airy and with fewer overtones. Sounds great for rhythm and with medium frets works fine for lead. If you get the chance to play one, it’s worth a try

That looks terrific! I was to be in. Rutles tribute band and I created a 615 Rutlebacker clone from a 1991 610 by adding toasters and an accent vibrola. I even had a custom Rutlebacker TRC made. I got to meet Neil Innes in 2004 and he autographed the top tier of the pickguard for me. I sold the 610 but kept the TRC and the pickguard!
