Hell for $10,000 Chris Squire would probably sell you one of his Rics that he has used on stage ...

For 10 Grand, I would want Chris' own personal Rick, with case, and I would expect him to drop it off himself at my house -- and stay for dinner!

Unfortunately, someone will probably get so so close to $5000 reserve that the guy will relist it and sling some more BS about how I shouldn't even look at the horrible pictures he took unless I have the money. This forum is great for a number of reasons, one of which is that we all seem pretty realistic about how much our Ricks are worth. This guy needs to go...

hmmmm.. those strings look like Rotosounds. My CS came with RIC strings. I don't believe CS's were ever shipped with Rotosounds from the factory. For $10k I want the original strings too... sheesh the nerve of some people.

For 10 grand I want a van to carry all these RICs. But given that I'll spend 10 grand for the van, then I won't be able to buy these RICs, so actually the van is useless. :D

Cheers,

Its inching up to the 5K reserve....and it looks like it will make it. People just need to leave these things alone until the last day!!!

mattmalley probably went to 4990 or something (since the reserve has not yet been met) and this jfscheck person pushed the price up.

I just don't trust that e-bay.
The jfscheck person could as well be some friend of the seller or the seller himself.
When I bid on something I wait 'till the last 5 minutes and then place my maximum bid.

All you got to do on Ebay is to give a good line of BS and a lot of people will believe it and buy at high prices, that's half the battle, coming up with a GOOD sales pitch.
