Melissa....A photographer I am not, however, the pictures of the 60' 360 MG were among the first pictures I took last year with a new Sony camera. I was amazed how well they came out. Many, MANY thanks to John Williams who arranged the pictures into something meaningful and continues to host them on his great website.

You can search the Forum for my username 360dave and get the full story about this guitar....briefly though, I bought it new in Tulsa in January 60'. I ordered it as a 360 MG and what you see is what I got....I traded the original tail piece and bridge in 62' to a guy named Mike Bloomfield for his roller bridge and Kauffman vibrato which has long since disappeared...it may be in the attic. On the website, it is mislabled as a 365.
In 75' I bought a new tailpiece exactly like the original and removed the Kauffman but left the roller bridge on the guitar.
I was moving in a pretty fast crowd back then and I scared a few names with this old 360....look here for a little more.

The red paint visible in the cavity and under the TRC is proof that this guitar started life as a FG but was refinished at the factory as a MG apparently for my order. I suspect this guitar had an earlier life...after a lifetime I may never find out ol' 2T052's true history.

The Fender amp is a 60' that I bought new back then too....it works great and I use it today instead of the Twin Reverb....nothing like the Brown Sound to gladden the heart of a geezer rocker!!

Chris Squire has owned the original 4001cs for about 37 or 38 years ...

I bought my 330 new in the summer of 1984. It cost $601 including tax and case.

You don't see too many early '80s Rick guitars around very much nowadays, do you?

I ordered my first Ric in Apr 98, taking delivery in Sep 98. I added a second one in Dec 99, and a third in May 00.

I ordered my beloved 330/6 Fireglow in February 1997 and received it in mid-June of the same year. Then I ordered my great 370/12VP Maplego in July 2003 and received it at the very beginning of this month, March 2004. Won´t sell any of these, and I would like to have a 325 someday.

Scratched and saved to buy my 4001JG brand new in 79. Was talked into selling it in 82 after a few mods. Didn't get back into it until I found that V63 last year. I'll post some photos one day from 79-82 of the original.

Bought my first Rick in 1976. Sold it in 79 because the neck went bad. Purchased my next Rick in 85 still have it a 4001 V63MG. Next came a 1997 4003 JG, 4004 Cii MG 2003, then came a 4003S/5 2002 (purchased new in 2004 from a dealers unsold stock) Still have them...

Bought my first in 77, sold it in 80 (If I had known about the cap back then, I'd still have it), bought my next in 90, sold it and another one in 94 (illness forced that sale) bought my next in 95, sold it same year (still ill), bought my first of this continous line in 98, and many since then.

What's unbelieveable is that the bass never grew another string<g>

or another SD 1/4 pounder in the mute cavity.

At least not yet...

well ... I did put ric high gains in both positions ... and I put Ric strap lock buttons on ... and I put new ric tuners on ... God I hate those tarnished reverse tuners ... and I kept all the original parts too ...

It will be 3 years this August. I just recently turned 25, so although I haven't had them for a long time, I'm not giving them up - and owning 3 Rics by age 24 is pretty decent, I think.
