Thanks for cleaning up, Ilan. I know I've posted links here before - what was I doing wrong.
I hear what your saying regarding two volumes, Bob, but for now it is working out fine. I find I tend to prefer a pan over two volumes - seem easier to adjust on the fly to me. My other basses that have them are active though - I suspect the pan may behave differently with an active cirucuit?
Dave - I was pleased to find this. Was one Rick I've really been wanting to check out for awhile.

Hey now....my friend Tim didn't mean to start a JEFF rumble, its just that he told me about the forum about two years ago, and I hadn't gotten around to registering and posting anything 'till yesterday. Imagine his surprise when he answered my post and then realized that it was from me, the crazy Rickenbacker obsessed Jeff he knows from Chi Town. Its been fun lurking on the sidelines and reading, but now I have a voice and soon you'll be saying....."who IS this guy and why won't he just go away!"
