It's not like Roger's endorsing junk. Maybe he's just cashing in and getting a little for himself. God knows other people have have made a bunch of money based on his choice of equipment.

I think Roger is overrated, personally.
There! I said it!

What about a George Harrison tribute guitar?
Also Paul Weller did great things with his Rics.
Especially influencing people like me to buy them.

George is a good idea... possibly some proceeds could even go to a foundation, like the Carl Wilson model.

I'm all for a George Harrison tribute model, in as much as when the 360/12C63 happens that really will be the closest to George's one will likely get. Or perhaps his 1965 360/12? There's an idea. Either way Olivia would have the final say.
I'd love to see a Mike Rutherford signature doubleneck! But, I can only imagine the price on that bugger (OUCH!!!).

Hey Bobcat, how about a Billy Byrd and Hank Garland signature model? A 370 with all the vintage appointments and Byrd wiring. And the marketing department could come up with a really cool name like.... I dunno, say "Byrdland". Yeah, thats it!

Rob Irwin - you gotta listen more carefully. Better yet, try playing Turn Turn Turn on a 12. Not to mention his influence.
However, my personal tastes would turn me off of Ricks if there were a G. Lee model! And I'd never heard of Lemmy til I got on this forum!

LOL.
Don, that was tongue-in-cheek.
But if Roger disconnected the comp and isn't using it, he could send it to me.

Friends - you can't "disconnect" the compressor in a 370/12RM, it's not disconnectable. Or, rather, it's not a modular circuit. You CAN just leave it shut off, which is what would happen if you let the battery die out, only the clean sounds would work.

Stereo out for piezo and hi gains. Single top-bound body with checks. R-tailpeice. 24 fret bound rosewood board (back finished in Mapleglo). Highly figured maple top finished in fireglo. Back and sides finished in mapleglo. Fireglo headstock with walnut wings. Two-tiered chrome scratchplate. Chrome nameplate with raised black letters. Chrome knobs. Real abalone triangle inlays. Wait...am I still on the right thread?

If any forumite deserves a Signature model, why not Peter? A 350c04PM with all the crazy canuck mods!

Guy Picciotto of Fugazi has been using 330s exclusively for almost 20 years. The one he uses now has taken quite the beating. He will never have a signature model.

I don't know his name, but the guitar player for Radiohead plays a 360/6. Paul Weller was also mentioned...he has some oddly painted 360s that will probably not become signature guitars. Jackson Browne almost had a signature guitar. There's a photo of it in one of the Rickenbacker history books, but the guitar never made it to production.

Also tongue in cheek. Geez, no one appreciates me sense of humor.
I knew that, Kenny. Really I did.

How about a Paul Weller "WHAM!" signature guitar? When you see that guitar, you think of Paul.
