Probably a good idea to crank it up every now and then and just let it idle. The caps can dry out and go bad just sitting there over time. Is it cascade or blue. I don't have a blue one but one of mine is a double cab cascade one.
I almost got a 2x12 blue one once and I should have I don't have a blue one in my collection.
The sound of a Ric thru one is very unique too. When you turn one up to about where five would be or twelve oclock the breakup to it is very simular to a Fender tube amp.
