Yeah that is a great solo. I think the Ric sound on that album is great.
I've mentioned this before but I met the singer Barry Palmer from Triumverat in Germany in 1980, he was with another band at the time, we were in a double studio. In fact we passed the late hours many times over beers. I had never heard of him, but we'd be sitting in a pub and someone would come up and say, hey aren't you Barry Palmer? and he'd mumble, yeah, bla bla. He was actually very humble especially for a lead singer. And I've still never heard them haha! He had a great voice though, and wanted my band to go to England to be his backup band for solo stuff and I was the only one who wanted to do it, we were going to be stars, you know how it is, haha!
