I sanded a test piece just to see how it'd turn out. 600 grit doesnt show at all... and I really don't want the primer to peel.

keep in mind I'm using clear and painting the reverse white, to get the same look as the gold pickguards, but with white.

anyone know the exact drill bit diameters of the holes for potentiometers/switch/fade?

Use speed bits, the ones used to drill holes in paneling/wood. 1/2 inch for the switch and 3/8 for all of the pots. Perfect fit.
