Laney VC30 212, same as a Vox AC30, with reverb, and efx loop, 1/2 price. You'll get the sound.

has anyone been able to make a "vox" sound out of the tech 21 trademark 10?

For those who are interested in how stories end:
I created this string, about half a year ago, looking for an amp that would compliment my new 360/6 Carl Wilson model. After much testing, I chose a Trace Elliot Velocette. It is a British 15 Watt Class A amp that has very basic features but an incredible sound.
I found the amp, brand new, for a close-out price of $250. (Gibson purchased Trace Elliot and replaced the amp with the Goldtone series, which carries a much higher price tag than I paid.) They're hard to come by, but well worth the effort.
