The 1997PT had an "R" tailpiece, while the 1997 reissues have the trapeze tailpiece. Minor difference, more cosmetic than functional, to be certain.

Peter, I agree.
I realize that they are producing as much as they can and maintain the high quality control. It just seems to me that the regular 330, 360 and 4001 series and always being constantly produced and they only produce the other models, be it the acoustics, c series, etc. when enough orders warrarnt their production. This would explain why the other models are harder to locate.
