Dang Jeff, I was thinking a vacuum clamp, or magnetic induction clamp routed to the back !!!
I figured it was screws, but since none are actually visible in the pictures I thought I'd ask !!!

I'll bet Jeff is already figuring out how to fit five saddles and a compartment for a J pickup in there.

I do hope that someone gets a replacement bridge in production, either Hipshot or RIC, which I'd rather have as I am sure John Hall will design a very nice one.

the hipshot bridge is available for viewing at the NAMM show in LA next week or whenever it is.
i have not seen the finished working unit but i wont get into the ANYTHING would be an improvement rant....again. david borisoff from HS assures me that it up to specs and should perform in as stellar fashion. the bridge is fully adjustable, has plenty of travel and will intonate a low B sting if that is your 4 string tuning setup.

Just got back from NAMM. The Hipshot guys say it's available. They've got one mounted on an Ibanez 4001 clone. Looks pretty much like the pictures, just chrome plated. The adjustments are like the Type A bridge.

Do the Ibanez bridges match a RIC bridge in dimensions and screw hole placement? Hipshot used the Ibanez as it's working model to design the bridge so I wonder, will it work?
