I forgot about John at Bass Emporium....I was out there visiting my old singer & hitting the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Ronn Roberts of this forum suggested that I visit that store.
I wasn't there 30 seconds, mentioned Ronn's name & all of a sudden in my hands is a Fireglo C64 through a SWR. The guy knew I wasn't going to buy anything, as I was just visiting, but still let me have run of the store. Good guy.

Chris, this is the "In Praise of Mike Parks" thread. If you want to praise John at the Bass Emporium you'll have to start a new thread.

I was just following up on what Dave said - we always have to give props to quality Rick dealers or we'll all end up at Guitar Center.
