Do you guys super-glue your grommets on?
I've found that on my 325, I adjust my pickups too high to hold the grommets in place, so I glued them to the nut underneath and they're actually floating above the body a bit. They weren't originally glued on when I removed the pups to unwind them, but the ones on my 360V64 were.

Here's a close-up:
Spencer, I haven't used glue on any of mine with grommets because I don't have the pickups too high, so the outer ones hold OK; it is tricky getting four of them them into position under the protruding nuts when re-installing the pickup.

I know, it's a ***** - that's where the glue also comes in handy. Plus, I've looked down while playing and noticed one missing, only to find it much later inside the pickup cavity.

Perhaps that is another reason RIC went to the foam pads.

i just put put grommets under my 330's pu's..i like the look better, but have yet to see how it sounds (with feedback and all) One thing that I have noted though....since the replacment of the foam pads to grommets...the guitar sounds much louder then It did before (unplugged)
