I wish that my wife was 24, but I digress... Thanks for all of your uplifting sentiments, but to be on the safe side, I better stay away from all sharp objects tomorrow!

My dad has always maintained that the age of one's ideal wife is calculated by dividing your age by two and adding seven, so Ron, your ideal wife would be 27.

I can't figure out how I've managed to stay 22 for 23 years.

I turn 47 in 4 days and I plan to be writing better songs and playing my Rics live for the next 47 too. They say the perfect age for your Ric is to divide Pete Townsend's age by two and add 7.. Or was that old enough to vote and drink, plus 12, divided by the number of strings..? Let R = Rickenbacker..

I'm 55 and still crankin' it loud 'n' proud for close to 40 years. And that's about how long it took me to finally say "@#%& it" and buy my first Ric!!! Sounds great through a Hot Rod Deluxe driving a 30-year-old Marshall 4x12 cabinet. Turn what down? To paraphrase an old line, "It's not how loud you play it, but how you play it loud!"

Rock on ...
