Steve, when are those MP3's of your 36012CW through a janglebox going to be up on the website? i can't wait to hear them!

I have to agree with all of you.

I have three Rics, and a 360/12CW jetglo is one of them, with the nut mod and 12 saddles. It sounds amazing, even unplugged. I think they are going to grow up in value in the next future, but anyway I'm sure I will never sell mine.

By the way, the price for mine (used but near mint) was very similar to the one you said before.

Rob, I listened to the MP3s recently (they were originally recorded in December) and couldn't stand them... especially in light of Craig's great clips. They're played much too fast. I just need to find a little time to get back to the studio and redo them. Maybe in the next week or two.

the thinner top does make a difference in the feel and the sound of the guitar. I have a cw-6 and put toasters on my 360-12. There are subtle differences that are noticeable. I don't have the need to exchange my twelve string because I just am not that into it in relation to the six strings.

With Gretsches for example, Brian Setzer complained openly when his hotrod model's top did not have as thin a top as his '59 6120 that was used for the model.
