Jeez...what a pretentious JERK.
I guess the $150/ticket he charges isn't enough of a stoking for his big fat ego....

Thank you, Michael...by the way, are you any relation to his former songwriting editor?

I would imagaine if you are going to live on the road like that for extended periods of time you would want to be comfortable and have it as close to a constant environment as possible place to place.
My band demands electricity and that the door be unlocked so we can get in.

One more thing: free coke, nowadays that's right up there with brown M&M's I believe. Gotta love those club owners.

Hey Bob, what kind of free coke are you talking about?

Touring can be a huge drain on anyone, no matter who they are. For that time before the show, a consistent environment would be the one thing that they CAN control. I've been in too many places with no showers, no food, no places to relax before / after the show, and being on the bus is no picnic, either. Sometimes if you DO get these things, it is a nasty room that hasn't been cleaned since the 80's! So I can see why if they can ask for and get these things, it is a welcome relief to life on the road, and some consistency in a time when everything is hurried and people are out of their element.
