Paul is #1, but Prince is pretty special too. He can really play the guitar and keys, and has written a bunch of great songs. Anyone that has seen him live will tell you how awesome he is.

A first class strange dude? Well, yeah! Of course he is, but who cares?

What was up with Paul's hair?

How much do you think the NFL paid him to do that short show? Any guesses?
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again

Probably more than the $550,000 fine they incurred as a result of last year's show. :P

What was up with Paul's hair?

People have been asking that question since February 9, 1964.

I would think he donated whatever his fee was to Adopt-a-minefield.

I think he looked super dreamy with longer hair.

As much as I love RIC basses, that he was born to play that Hofner

Even by Sir Paul McCartney's standards, it counts as a major payday.

The 62-year-old star was promised £1.8 million ($3.3 million) for his 12-minute half-time appearance early today at America's greatest sporting event, the Super Bowl.

That equates to £150,000 ($28,050) a minute or £2,500 ($4,675) a second.

The link is some cool macromedia pics from the halftime show.

That's Rusty Anderson.

Martha: What type of amp and cab do you use?

Rusty: Live, I've been using Divided by 13 amplifiers. When I'm in the studio I also use old amps, like Fenders, Laneys, Gibsons, Voxes, Matchless, stuff like that.

Did anyone notice that the original 1966 playlist taped to the top of his Hofner is no longer attached?

I believe this Hofner was refinished quite some years ago possibly losing that song list in the process.

I don't think it was refinished. That worn spot on the body is still there, unless it was clearcoated over. As for the playlist, it has been gone for several years now. If I am correct it was gone during his 93 Live in the New World tour

Check that. I just watched Live in the New World and the playlist is still there. It must have been removed shortly after.
