I had the same exact thing happed to me. EBay would not let me offer the second highest bidder a second chance.
Anyway,I sent an email to the seller asking if they made any second chance offers. She replied back, saying that she did not, and she also found out that one of the other bidders was offered a bogus second chance.
I forwarded her the guys name and email, she said she would report it.
I asked her if it was her bass that she sold. Waiting to hear reply. I don't know many women that play bass let alone Rics, except for the chic from Clatter

Joe says he did close the deal and the offer is bogus. Report the "seller" to [email protected].

Hi Guys,
this **** is getting to be too mutch...i have told ebay and paypal this is getting to be almost pre dick able look for a rickenbacker auction anmd find waldo..this ******** will stop when they stop it..thier security is really bad..with the money we spend on ebay they need to fix this problem..i am spending 600.00 on a v63 horshoe pick up because i cant tell whos one first..in the words of the wicked witch of the north 'o what a world"
