Glad to see I'm not crazy (well, not THAT crazy). I sent a message about getting a better photo of the bridge and got this reply:

"That 3rd photo is pretty much head on. My camera isn't the best. I'm selling the bass for a friend of mine and it's at his house. We took the photos today, it's clean and sharp, nicer than the photos!"
