I have a dear friend -female, average build, with rather ...er... present breast; she has a Ric 360/12 which she plays with no problem, telling me that electrics are not a problem, but rather acoustics which get in the way.

It was not breast size but proportion that I thought could be a problem for Denise, since she is petite by her description.

Bugger it! Just post a picture of yourself, Denise (dressed in your best gee-tar playin' outfit), and let us all make the decision for you (color is important too, you know)!!

Here is a picture of my grand-niece with her 330 LH JG VP:

My recollection is that she's about 5'5" (she's tall for her age).

Maybe that will help to put things in perspective.

If she's 5'5", you can see my point about proportions. That thang looks HUGE!

I'd go with one of those Beatle re-issues. Those things (For a 6'3" bass player) seem like toys Image

Denise has been taken by the great German carved top on the 381.....

Please, do not look directly at the carved top....step away from the carved top....

Send a either a RESCUE squad or a REISSUE squad to help Denise out with this one.

Ever notice that whenever a question of this sort is raised, we first confuse the heck out of somebody, and then get them into financial trouble?

Look at Howard, for example. Er, let me reword that:

Consider Howard's case.

Ain't it great! We're spending, no--BLOWING our childrens' inheritances. But--what did they ever do for us? God Bless Old Age.

I believe the correct term for that is SKIing (spending the kids' inheritance). My problem is that my son is helping me spend it on all his leftie gear as well!!

Word for the day:

BLAMESTORMING.

Sitting around in a group, discussing why a deadline was missed or a project failed, and who was responsible.

There are a lot of good female guitarists that use or have used 330's. . . Carrie Brownstein leaps to mind.

But I don;t know how tall she is. . .

My 660 definitely feels heavier than my 330, for whatever it's worth.

Denise, what model did you end up getting? I just got a 330 in Fireglo 2 weeks ago from Sam Ash. It was the only RIC in the store.
