Wow ...
Behold I see the line of my Rickenbackers,
I see my 4001, my 4003, and my v63.
I see them all stretched before me...

Awsome, simply awsome, the Fireglo is lovely.

That'd be shortly after I go off breathing !!!!!

Lucky for me Jeff didn't post pics of his 68 Fireglo at the same time, or I'd have to have had a slight sit down with a brown paper bag !!!

Ken's 67 4001S is very cool too, and another lovely fireglo finish. That sat up in Toronto for longer than I thought last year considering the rarity. I imagine my 67 body probably came from the same very small batch.
The "S" was not even listed in the Ric domestic catalogs of the sixties, effectively a special order.

Phil, my local store & I have an understanding, they get a Rick in & I get first look. In December they told me a dot marker '60's Rick was coming in. That's it.!! So far I've found a '65 1997 there & this one. The FG I've had for 20 years.
Sergio, that's the original guard, no doubt about it. The only thing I can put it down to is the pickup is routed in the wrong spot. Just a little off. It certainly is unique!
