You think you have problems trying to find a choice of Rickys to play in a head to head before you buy, just put being left handed into the equasion (and being in the UK too!) then you will really know what suffering is. I find georgous guitars and basses right handed but lefties... not a chance. I would kill for a lefty 480 but do you know how many lefties were made? A big zero!!! (Can I get off my soap box now please?).
