I've been mixing some paint samples the last couple of days, and I happened upon one that looked something like that. I kept looking.
To be fair, though, this may be one of those colors that looks better in person.

So there I am, naive as he**, assuming that the photo on Ed's site is of one of HIS paint jobs and commenting on how good it looks, and he "borrowed" the pics from Rick.
Acid green is how I'd describe this shade.
Howard, IMO BRG looks terrible on guitars--most dark shades do, with of course the exception of black, burgundy and brown.
This one might look better in person if it was less yellow and more bluish or crystalline green. Rough color--spray a bit too heavy and it starts to look like a fencepost.

I am obviously in a minority here but I like it.

Peter: This is a unique colour and as such has its place in Rickenbacker history. Whether GrannySmithglo or Factory Shaded Green, it is an attention grabber.

Peter I'm with you, ever since I've first seen one of those, a while back when I first joined here, I liked it.
There's something to it, it's a special color.
I'd take a 360 like that any day.

I love the color too when I first saw the pictures a couple years ago. Now that Ed has them, maybe I will venture up to his store to look at them in person.

I like the green. Not my first pick of shades, but I do like it.
I wanna second the motion for a Pineglo color of the year. Perhaps a metallic dark green? Sort of a cross between the Packers and Eagles shades of green, only a little darker?
Dark metallic purple would be my first pick for dream color, though.

Vikings...yes! Only metallic. Like the current Midnight Blue is metallic. And maybe a little darker!

White TRC and trim...
Actually, I think there are some other Forumites who like purple. Judging from past posts, if I remember correctly. Maybe it's a bass thing...

You want purple? Is Plumglo close enough?

Adam, the plumglo is beautiful.
I am thinking of a metallic purple, though. Dark purple with the metallic shimmer that the current Midnight Blue has.
I do like the plumglo, tho.
