Me too Henny, they are both beautiful in different ways. I have to say the solid walnut body was sensational!

Its a beautiful bass(the Cheyenne I), but I favor my 4001 style Ricks. I'd like to try the Cheyenne II though.

Warren: That's a really sharp bass. Have you thought about selling one of your family members?

Jeff I wish it was mine!! I tried to buy that very one last year, I found it on a Japanese website (guitar shop), but they wouldnt ship it to the uk! So u can imagine, I wasnt very happy as 2060's never come round very often!

None of them are his, Jeff.

It's fun to watch him yearn so badly, however... Image

Thanks Henny! I did have a black 4001 once, before I moved abroad to Israel for 5 years, the last bass I had was a Wal Mach 2 in black, that I had made by Electric Wood, I knew after I ordered it, I should have ordered a 4004 from Rosetti! If I hadnt had been made redundant at Xmas I would have had another one by now!

The Cheyenne II is a nice bass. I have a translucent blue model and it has a lot of deep end growl. I played it at a jam session one day and someone likened it to a Gibson Ripper (gasp!).

Actually, my warped sense of humor and poor communication skills saw to it that my last post was not interpereted the way I meant!

I agree that the bolt on neck model above is one of the sweetest examples of one of those that I've ever seen. But I was talking about the 4004 pictured earlier in the thread that Warren is jonesing for. What I was trying to suggest was that...well...perhaps Warren could look into selling one of his family members(i.e. a sister, grandmother, stepmother, etc)...and using those funds to purchase said 4004.

Now I get you, was a bit slow all day! I wouldnt get enough with them, selling my car would be a safer bet! And there was me saying earlier that at least I hadnt lost my sense of humour, I think I spoke too soon!
