There's no bass guitar on the first two songs, but the third was recorded with a 1979 4001jg

Marc that was a nice sound you all had... can't mistake the RIC sound, even processed a little.

I've posted another "new" tune from my first CD on my Myspace site.

'Family Tree'

It features the snarl-rific 4001SLH with the pre-WWII horseshoe PU, no cap.

Two songs fom the Kerbcrawlers first CD are now up on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/kerbcrawling - I think I used the Ric 4003FG on both of these.

Nice Ric sound there, Jehlik! Closing up the pizza joint and you got me bouncing all over, sounds good in a storefront..

Cool stuff, guys! Yeah, I dig the fat Rick sound, Scott. Huge! I take it it's a 4001 or 4003 sans the .0047 cap?

Here's a new one I posted on my Myspace page. Check it out in all it's 96k sound glory:

'Throwaway'

Once again featuring the '68 4001 MG which Paul W. was kind enough to feature as 'Mr. November' on the Rick Forum 2007 Calendar.

'Throwaway' is currently unaffiliated with any album, and will likely be on the 3rd CD when that takes shape.

This was a little project on another forum. A game of broken telephone: One guy wrote & recorded a song and e-amiled to the next guy, who then did a cover version of it in his own 'style' and then e-mailed it to the next and so on. Then they were all uploaded simultaneously.
Note: you can listen to all 10 versions by clicking wher it says 'Chinese Whispers' under the song title.

Hey Greg - I've been checking out the 'Chinese Whispers' project. Cool concept! Version #4 has an uncanny resemblance to The Talking Heads.

Ahhh yes the finger print prone Harley Bass...

Mark, I like this - the surge to start- well done! The other changes internal, what can I say - it still throbs like a hot sweaty club floor - just nasty enough in temperament. And the #9 like ending. Almost epic… you done good. Would be interesting to try that live.
