Paul, you think you are doing you're best work at 57? I think Dane should be the judge of that.

Brian, Dane has never seen my work. But my 8 yo keeps telling me...

Damn! An 8 year old at 57! You have done your best work as you've gotten older. I thought having a 7 year old at 42 was pushing it. Of course my older kids are 23 and 21. Right on Paul!

Thanks, Brian.

I have three older children like you, all in their thirties.

Thats awesome. The best thing for my little guy is that he has the best of both worlds. He has a brother and sister who love and spoil him, but he is like an only child because his older siblings are out of the house. He has it made.

My little girl has her older siblings, too; one in Rio De Janeiro, one in Prague, one in Chicago, and one in Madison, WI. The last time we all got together was in Madrid in '02.

We all wish her siblings were closer, geographically...

My daughter is here in the Treasure Valley (Boise area), but my son is stationed in Everett on the USS Abraham Lincoln. He is at sea right now. When he is away I have to show my little one where on the globe his older brother is.

I hope you and the family get together soon.

Not to keep changing the subject...

I thought of a guy who's doing better work than he did 20 years ago, and he was damn good then: George Carlin...

I was reading Clarence Gatemouth Brown's obit, and he was 81 when he died. His 24 year old daughter was one of the people interviewed.

George Carlin has been consistent. I love that guy.

Carlin is good, but he's getting forgetful.

Lemme see; what was I sayin'?

That's what happens to you when you keep telling the same stories over and over again...

Lemme see; what were you sayin'?
