The market price is consistent...this one lasted less than a day:-

In the meantime, my 75th 660 is now winging it's way across the Pacific Ocean and should arrive in Oz shortly...woohoo!

You're gonna love it. The only thing I am having to get used to is the wider neck. I loved it for the 660/12 I had but it does feel a tad too wide for a six string, more like an acoustic guitar. Not a bad thing really, as I do a lot of fingerstyle playing where this will come in handy.

Jeff, I was wondering about that myself. I said "Self, I wonder about that wider neck?"
I can hardly wait to see it sparkle when I first open up that case.

Must be time for a 'viewing' et al, Darren. Let's talk when it arrives, eh?

I just went from future owner to current owner. The 660 is enough to make me switch from bass to guitar. I love the wide fingerboard, checkerboard binding, and DCM paint. This one is a keeper!!!

The little guy wanted to pose with it. He normally avoids having his picture taken.

Congratulations, Ted! You should send it back, though...... the sticker is crooked!!

Beautiful, Ted. I'm sure the checkerboard binding with that color is gorgeous.

It is! You have no idea how gorgeous these 660s are unless you see it in person. How many will be at MARF II? Mine, Ted's...

BTW, I was surprised to find such skinny strings on mine (I know, it is not a bass), but .008s? I am thinking of .010s or maybe those D'Addario .095s, any suggestions?

I will probably only bring one instrument to MARF - the 4002. Otherwise the logistics are just too much.

I am partial to .010s myself. My brother likes D'Addario so that is usually what I use. I am too much of a bass player to have an opinion about guitar strings. I suspect I will try DRs at some point.
I love this this thing. The 660 neck is PERFECT for my hands.

Too bad you can't bring more than one instrument, but if it will make you feel better, I will have room in my car for the 4002, if you catch my drift!

Sounds like Jeff has the room for the 4002, but not Ted...well, without Ted, Jeff should also have room for the redneck, the shadow, the 63 etc...
