It was a great night last night. A few pints, a nice meal and great company.................then Darren & Dave arrived. They fell out of a cab, giggling like little school girls. Embarrassing really for men of their age! Aitch and I maintained our dignity throughout the evening, despite D & D's best efforts to drag us down to their level of "gutter" humour.

We're just having a quiet jam this morning. I expect Darren is busy making Dave some of his infamous "Pascoe" pancakes!!

Well we had a very pleasant evening tonight. It made a change for Aitch and myself to be invited, rather than be snubbed by the Nobu set. We were very well behaved and kept quiet, so as not to embarrass our well healed friends. Darren and Dave talked all night about the high class restaurants they plan to go to in Sydney, whilst Aitch and I discussed whether we were going to be super sized at McDonalds!

If I wasn't having so much fun doing tax returns, I'd be jealous! :) Looks like a great time.

You said it, man.

Which one of you shaved Dave's moustache while he slept?

Sorry we haven't been posting much, but we're all having far too much fun!! We all had a VG time on Friday. We met Brett Dillon for drinks in the afternoon and then we had a very nice dinner at Peter Doyle's at the Quay, overlooking the Opera House .............very romantic! Glen Lambert and his girl friend Katerina joined us later on and we talked Rickenbackers until late in the evening. I insisted on picking up the check for dinner, but Dave wanted to be the big man that night! Brett then took us to one of his favourite bars where we enjoyed beer and clams into the early hours!

Today was spent touring guitar stores. Glen was our chauffeur and tour guide. We managed to find a couple of things to put a smile on our faces......pics to follow. Lets just say a couple of the rarest 12 string Rickenbackers ever made!!

Off for dinner soon and then to a gig. If we still feel up to it.........we might have beer and clams afterwards?!?!?

More to follow soon!

I just wanted to check up on Dave. Is he OK? He seemed to have quite a viscous reaction to the clams. Being the great guy that he is, I am sure Darren would have looked after it for him.

You're right Brett. Dave did seem to have an aversion to clams. He seems to favour the Irish Pork sausage or the meat lovers feast generally! I'm sure Darren will post a few pictures soon!

One of my employees, Nicole, provide Dave with a traditional Aussie "thank you" after the meal....

The next day Howard, Graham, Dave and I flew to Sydney, where fine examples of the native wildlife were abundant:-

Graham liked the look of the fancy car with the shiny wheels, so he gave the driver a demonstration of his special happy dance:-

Dinner that evening took place at Doyle's restaurant, famous for it's seafood. We were joined by fellow Sydney Forumites Brett Dillon and Glen Lambert, with Glen's lovely girlfriend Catorina:-

Here's a nice photo of Glen and Catorina:-

It didn't take long for Glen and Brett to get used to the party theme of the occasion. It's a pity Dave ruined the photo by staying in the closet.

After dinner Glen and Catorina headed home, while the rest of the lads went for a supper of beer and clams. After having our fill of clams, this is what Dave and Graham looked like. Time check 2.00am:-
