I liked the first version of Pretty in Pink, the remake for the film was lame, replaced guitars with keyboards, not as edgy.

The band has been posted elsewhere on the RRF, and have used Rickenbackers for most of their career. The song is about a place. That should help. :D

I recorded Suspect Device last night and was going to post it, but the sound was messed up & I couldn't figure out why.
Thank goodness I didn't. That would be like if we showed up at a club wearing the same dress.

Greg, It wouldn't bother me in the least if we were wearing the same dress!

So, was your version better than mine? :)

One of the guitar players married Patti Smith, and she was happy to not have to change her last name. He is known for playing a Rick 450 with Gibson humbuckers and Moserite guitars.

I was told by a friend here that I should make the songs easier to get, or the interest would dissappear from this thread, what are your thoughts on this matter? I see some of those questions on the trivia section are extremely difficult, yet doesn't seem to affect it's participation.

What do you think? Feel free to PM me on this.

Play whatever you like mate, it's great.

There is little point in just playing stuff like Substitute and Jumping Jack Flash that you get after about 2 seconds.

Keep 'em coming, I have a toughie next.

Right, back to yours. The Patti Smith thing gave it away.
It's Fred (sonic) Smith of the MC5 and the track is.......Motor City?
