Re: NAMM 2010
That's Paul W's daughter, Julianna with the mandolin. I'd like to connect names with faces, and perhaps a lot of Forumites may not know who is who in these shots. Gary, could you enlighten? I know the usual suspects, but a few of the folks with RIC shirts and others, I have no clue. TIA.

Re: NAMM 2010
Dalia and I are very proud parents; Juliana's about the most social 12-year-old you'll meet and mostly unflappable. She plays keyboards and a bit of guitar and has been singing with the San Francisco Girls' Chorus for a bit over 4 years. This past November she sang in the chorus of the San Francisco Opera's production of Verdi's "Otello", and also was a "super", onstage in three acts. I kept thinking back to her first days, when she was tiny and helpless, but already developing her singing voice! We're hoping that this year she can audition for the SFGC "Chorissima" ensemble, which tours worldwide.
Now she wants to play my Rick mandolin...but I want her to clean her room instead.

Good luck there. My experience with girls (daughters) is that doesn't happen until they get a place of their own, then you check your dirty shoes at the door.jingle_jangle wrote:Now she wants to play my Rick mandolin...but I want her to clean her room instead.

Unfortunately, most of the time I have just enough time to resize and post them, so adding text becomes a bit much. If I can make some time, I will see what I can do.bassduke49 wrote:... Gary, could you enlighten? ...

Set 17, the last one: Dinner Monday with John S.
BTW, I do like to take pictures around the show so that those who haven't been to one can get a taste of the enormity of it all. I'm glad you have enjoyed seeing my pictures!
