Okay, this is big news, so I had to post! The Breitsprechers are coming to town and attending the Minicon!!! :D Mel and Marc; if you two want to post some of your chord charts and maybe some audio samples here on the RRF, or as a music file to some of us, we could probably learn a couple of your numbers for the jam. We learned Darren's "Sink or Swim" for the Trottycon and SCARF. :)

Thanks, Paul! If anyone is up to the challenge of learning some new tunes, here's a link to my MySpace site:

http://www.myspace.com/melibeedreams

Check out these songs: "The Song of My Dreams" (I recorded this one with some help from Florida forum buddy Steve Carsello, who played a mean 330 and 4001 bass; the acoustic is me on my Comstock)
"A Thousand Miles Away" (I'm doing some California dreamin', on Ric 12-string)
"Dreamer's Eyes" (ethereal Ric 12-string song)
"You Alone" (I used my 615 and Ric bass--some of you might recognize this song from RRF CD2)

If anyone has a copy of RRF CD1 listen to "Can't Let Go." That's the song that Aitch and I wrote together to commemorate the RIC 75th festivities.

If any of this sounds interesting to anyone, I can either print up some chord sheets to take to the jam, or can email them to interested parties. Meanwhile, I'm going to see if I can brush up on my Beatles, and perhaps a few of the other tunes in the list of suggestions!

BTW, Marc is just attending as a spectator--he is NOT a musician.... He wanted me to make that clear to everyone, LOL!

He does have a love of the Rickensound, though. Especially the basses. 8)
