The pedal could continue its tour (not there is many more on the list at all) and the stuff could be sent back to me to foward onto Heath Cave..
And there is the question of what should happen to the pedal once the tour is over.. Perhaps someone should get to keep it?
Do we have a contest like "In 25 words or less explain why you should be the one who gets the Grunt Pedal once the tour is over"
Or a popular vote as to who we think deserves it?

Questions, questions....

Eden.
I think it should go to someone who actually got it to work with their equipment.
+1 on that...

My "essay" was short and to the point. The pedal worked fine with my gear. 8)

Hey gang. I left it in my desk drawer over the weekend. Finally remembered to bring it home last night and left it in my jacket pocket. What the heck is wrong with me??? I'll test it out tonight, use it for a 2/10 gig, and should be down in Erik's neck of the woods before the end of the month.

That's because it is so small that it easily slips out of conscience....

Funny! Shari was asking about what you think of the pedal!

I just got to try it out. I LOVE it! How much, I'd like to buy one now!

I made a 2 minute video with my smartphone, is it ok to post it on the youtubes?

Here is a rundown. I used a Nov 73 4001 and Ampeg PortaBass 228. I used 10 foot braided shielded cables for both connections, not expensive cables, but decent ones that I use all the time.

The on/off "light" was pretty clever (some kind of physical indicator, not really a light).

The knobs are indeed reverse pots, so I started with both cranked clockwise and turned "down" (thus up). I noticed a slight drop off of the high end in this configuration, but not enough to be problematic. It's bass after all LOL.

Increasing the LVL effect (by turning counter clockwise) gave it a significant boost, definitely enough to be useful. The DRV similarly impressed me. It made a nice fuzz (can fuzz be nice?) which was much more noticeable on lower notes than higher ones.

I'm going to test this out at a small bar on the 10th in Arlington, VA. I expect to continue digging it! Thanks for including me in this test run. Sign me up!

let me know if it's ok to post a video of it. Don't want to step on any toes if this is a pre-market type of thing.

If so,the toes have already been stepped on...(by me). I did ask first, though. Glad you like it,i thought it was very cool, myself, especially the diminutive size and no power source needed.

I am glad to hear it works for you Jason. 8) Pretty awesome for something with no batteries in it, eh?

Very interesting. I wonder what the disparity is about.

You'll have to dispose of it by lottery to one satisfied reviewer.
