OK, Im not playing it, but a member emailed me and asked if I could post a pic of my CII, showing the concentric pot mod.

The pots and knobs are of good quality, and very compact.

The pic turned out kinda ****** after resizing, Its the best shot I've taken as far as actual color. If anyones interested I can send the bigger version via email.

I still have to do that to my 4004C. How is it working out for you Scott?

I think its the ultimate solution. I removed the original 2 pots\switch unit, and put these in with a "dummy" switch. The switch may be wired as a standby or something one of these days.

I have volume and tone control for each pickup, and its a reversable mod. I think the knobs look better than the originals.

Heres the source I used for the pots, kinda pricey but good quality.

That made me think man. Why have a pickupswitch if you have a volume for each pickup anyways. Unless its just for a quick sound change in the middle of a song?

I hate my switch. It messes me up. I want it gone or made into a stand by switch.

Sorry Nate. My screen broke down right after I posted those pics so I was not able to answer. Its a 4003 Jetglo 1984 with overpainted binding. No refind as earlier discused at this form. Makes it very special I think. They did it for some time In the early 80´s if all black was requested.
