Paul, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Sorry for coming across as only interested in your projects, we all only have one mother! My thoughts are with you and your family!

Very nice pictures - scratches the itch.

Hey Paul, whats with the 8 string potato-head neck on the wall behind the 650 MID?

Seeing as the neck looks like it's body tenon was cut off, I think it may be the neck from Graham's original 4005/8 that Paul made a replacement for.

Here's Bryce's '68 4001 just before I strung it up last night. Sergio Silva rewound the horseshoe. Some chrome is new, some is original in great shape. The original binding came off in 2 pieces, so I was able to re-install it after repairs were made to the body.

The horseshoes and the sand cast tailpiece and bridge were all replated by my new, reliable plater. Absolute show quality. I made the pickguard from correct acrylic, and the original full-width fret markers cleaned up really well. Original wiring harness with stranded "push back" cloth-insulated wire, blue caps.

Here's a 1980 320 with rare original factory "F" hole. Was a black player in somewhat dodgy condition. Customer wanted Autumnglo, so I stripped it and refinished it. The pickups are hi-gains with the polepieces pulled. Rare NOS nickel-plated short trap tailpiece, oven knobs. This one sounds really powerful, BTW!

Finally, a little sneak preview of an art bass I'm completing. You know who you are...

Paul, that 4001 is beautiful. The burst is just right, how I like them. The fretboard looks 3D. Kudos.

Those are both beautiful Ric's! I am really blown away by the curve (radius) of those 60's 4001's. i suppose it feels as good as it looks?
