Let's not give ourselves too much credit for this 75th Anniversary thing, after the way some have complained about it, I doubt it is much of our doing.

What? Us complain? Steve, you must be thinking of those trouble-makers on the Fender forum.

Oh, wait a minute, no, your are right Steve, that was us. Shoot, we almost got them all sent to Europe! DOH!!!

No worries, I'm thinking we might get credit for buying most of the 75th?,75ers?,75's? What the heck shall we call them? Fab Four?

Yea, what Dane said you guys in the Fab Four Club. Um....can I join?

I don't understand the complaints about the 75th instruments. The most popular negative comments center around the fact it is just a color a fancy pickguard and TRC, as if color does not matter. Jeez, every time an Azureglo 4001 pops up on Ebay you can hear the sound of belt buckles hitting the floor from here to Tokyo. A moderately clean '75 JG 4001 does not even get a second look but if it is Azure, Burg, or Autumnglo the home equity line of credit gets a workout. Go figure. The fact is that all four models sold out immediately and dealers took lots of calls about them in the days before the official release. In my book that is a success.

Right on Ted. I am thrilled to be getting just one 75th model. I'll own 1 out of 75 on the planet.
How special is that?

I was hoping that RIC would once again do the dark almost eggplant looking burgundy of the early 70's. The 75th anniversary bass looks similar to that, but even nicer IMHO. I love the way it looks. I'm also thrilled to be getting one. I wouldn't mind having at least one other 75th anniversary model.

I am sure you will give her a good home Scott. May you play her in good health.

Please listen to Scott and trash all the other 75E's, then I will have the only ones left ;-)

Me too Joey - I've got a line on a 360 but they are already moving up in price. I'm considering it

Can't wait to get my bass!

****, I hope you are kidding about the price moves Andy. I'm still waiting and watching. I was hoping these would stay under the RADAR for a while.

Maybe I'll pick up a nice Shadow instead, NOOOO!!!
