Haven't posted much on the RRF lately but I do read everything new every day. That said, I've really enjoyed this travelogue and love to live vicariously through all the descriptions of goings-on and the pics! Just outstanding all the way 'round! Makes me think "one day I'd like to do that..." kind of thoughts.

Congrats to Alisha on everything - the trip, the birthday, the degree, and all the fun! And for everyone in Oz who've made it all so memorable.

Aside to Aitch - Looks to me like Darren is hogging a lot more beauties than just Ricks! ;-)

Or maybe he was afraid you'd put one of your picks on someone to claim as yours. ;-)

"it wasn't like you dropped an F body"

If I had gotten that bad news, I definitely would have dropped a few F bombs!

Congrats Alisha!

Too funny Graham.

Alisha, are you prepared for him? I suggest that you hire a film crew and create some sort of documentary or chronicle while you're in the UK. You need to capture all the fun you will experience at the hands of one slightly off-center Brit. For proof of need just look at the picture two posts above.

If Peter will be involved in the UK segment, that would be two Brits half a bubble off plumb!

Congrats, Alisha, tough way to find out but the end news is the best!

Steve: Darren has a lot more things going for him than me:

1. The benefit of relative youth
2. A kick-*** guitarist, bassist and drummer - chicks like multi-functional men
3. More front than Macys - if you don't ask, you don't get!
4. He lives very close to the beach, where maidens tend to congregate
5. I use very lightweight picks, so they'd blow off in a puff of wind anyway!!!

Mad Skills!

I'm ready for Graham (although I've never seen him with glasses on....that just made my day!)

Sorry I am late again to the celebration, but congrats on your "Masters" Alisha. There's amazing stuff going on in this thread. I am looking forward to your visit to the UK. It should be a riot.

Dr. Alisha, congratulations, and be very afraid if when you meet Graham, he really IS wearing a T-shirt that says "Vote For Pedro" Image

I totally identify with that photo of you playing the Rick in the morning light - I too wake up every morning, fire up the amps, and play a few Ricks just to get the day started right.

Also beware that "reportedly-refinished" 68 4001 MG he is passing around Image
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!
