I'm sorry to say I won't be attending this time. This will be my first miss of an "official" U.S. Rick Confluence. It's mostly a timing and economic thing. Please, though, if Dick Burke, longtime RIC employee and one-time shop manager, happens to show up, someone please get his contact information? I've been trying to find him for a couple of years with all leads going to dead ends. I've got a lot of questions regarding Rickenbacker basses for the book, and he probably has the answers.

I'm sure everyone will have a great time, whether it's your first or not!

That's a drag Paul. Now I've got to find someone else to borrow reading glasses from for close Rickenbacker control cavity work. You will be missed!

Just wanted to see who's around before the confluence?

I get in on the 25th July. Apart from a couple of nights, I'll be kicking my heals. Anyone doing anything? Gigs? Dinner? Let's hook up! :D

I won't be able to attend SoCal this year, either. My wife's fanily's reunion is that weekend. It's always the first weekend in August. You guys have a great time, and I'll look for the pictures.
