That's what the guitar/Bass display part is all about! I'll jam a bit, then it's off to stare at the cool gear (and have a few drinks).ozover50 wrote:Got news for you guys........8mileshigher wrote:Excellent point, Jeff !!!jps wrote: And, pay for all the drinks!![]()

Aitch, the repertoire has grown quite a bit since you were last in town; all the jams/mini-cons have paid off.
Lots of Beatles numbers
A fair chunk of Byrds numbers
Early Who
Early Kinks
KISS
Pink Floyd
Plimsouls
Echo and the Bunnymen
The Church ("Milky Way")
The Ramones
The Clash
The Jam
The Cars
The Eagles (Take It Easy, Hotel California-sort of-)
The Rolling Stones
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
The Cure
The Smiths
Send us some of your faves from down under and we'll learn those as well.

I know a fair chunk of Beatles stuff, a bit of Floyd, Church, Clash, Eagles, Stones, Petty, so I might get by with that lot.
If not I'll join Dan in the bar!!!

Well, I guess I can bring my "mint" '75 SFDR, unless someone else is bringing a Deluxe Reverb.JakeK wrote:Steve: Why don't you bring your Deluxe Reverb, too, if you can, for me to play through?

If my mom won't let me bring my 1997, there's no way in he77 she's gonna let me bring my Blackface RI Deluxe Reverb. I might have to do it old school and put batteries in my Janglebox and TS-9.
Paulie, I PM'd Rich some songs, and for some reason, I threw in "Can I Get a Witness" by Marvin Gaye. It's one of my favorite songs by him, and it's pretty easy to play, too. And of course, since I plan on doing my Elvis impression, I thought we could round up some rockabilly guys and do "Hound Dog".

To those attending; we've concocted a jam song list to find common ground among the attendees. While this is not an 'in stone' list or agenda, it can serve to help forumites to connect on some of their favorite Ric inspired ditties.

Wow! My band sometimes covers His Latest Flame. Pretty obscure, I thought!
Re: 7th Annual SCARF - This One Goes To 11!
Thanks Scott!
I added another Clash song (and put myself as third guitar). "Should I Say or Shoud I Go", easy to play, not too many chords, and lot's of fun.
We did "Police on my Back" by the Clash at the last jam too but I'll run that by the Mike "King of the Punk Set" Snow before I add that or any Pistols!

If we really want to go nuts we should play the entire Ramones catalogue, and a heavy dose of the Cramps. . .Danotron wrote:Thanks Scott!

I added my name on a few spots. I know a pretty fair chunk of Byrds material, and also can help out on "Lying Eyes" and if I work at it, "Peaceful, Easy Feeling."

I'd love to see Heart Full of Soul (yardbirds), Charlie Don't Surf (clash) and Pretty Vacant (Sex Pistols) on the list. Can I just add them, or do I need some sort of approval?

By all means, add any songs you want to jam on. The songs up there are just suggestions to get the ball rolling, but the document is fully editable.
