Eddie, was that one of the Pearl White Specials that has some (major) work done to it?

I'd put it a little differently. I'd say it was one of the UK Pearl White Specials that has had some appropriate work done to it to turn it into the guitar it could/should have been in the first place to recognise the heritage of the Rose Morris models. For starters, the pickguards actually fit now.

Thanks Mark. All credit goes to William Young. I can't speak highly enough of the work he does. He's a guy who fully appreciates the heritage of Rossmeisl et al and who does his utmost to maintain the standards those guys set back in the day.

Ed,
Firstly congratulations on a gorgeous restoration / refit, it looks stunning.
Why Rick produced the tasteless Pearl white guitars in the first place is still a mystery to me...in fact it would have been better to have sent them out unpainted as that would have saved you a few bob stripping off the paint.
I noticed yours now has a proper TRC to match the 12 string headstock and not a leftover C58 one and also a 12 saddle bridge so it actually intonates properly plus proper 60’s style string spacing so that it’s actually playable..oh and my oh my the guards actually fit! Radical stuff eh?
It’s crazy that you have had to go to so much time and effort not to mention the money to get it to the state it should have been from the start. It now looks as it should have done in the first place if any one at Rick had actually cared and not something that was just cobbled together during someone's lunch break.
Enjoy it in good health mate as i’m not holding my breath for anything decent from Rick any time soon because based on recent form if they do actually produce something new it will probably be another “parts bin special”.

Many thanks Zube for your appreciation of the work William has done. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
I understand your comments about the White guitars. It seems some positive may have come out of it as I note that the latest tobacco burst, green glo, and black 360S/12 21 fret f-holes that the factory have made all seem to have better fitting pickguards. So in spite of previous comments from the factory that they only use existing off the shelf parts that are hanging around, I guess it's possible that someone there is listening to customer feedback and that they have done some bespoke parts for these latest f-hole specials.

Well if someone’s listening Ed they must be hard of hearing because the 2013 Namm stand looks like an ocean of banality.
“Oh yes and over here we have 330...have you seen one of these before?......and over here we have 360....blah blah blah.”

Eddie, that's fantastic! Looks like Tom Petty isn't the lucky duck anymore.
I'd be interested in seeing some more shots of it, plus a picture of it and your Sam Ash 6-string together.
