Steve -- can you possibly make this Song Chart/Tabs nirvana available as a download link like Doug did ? That way BARCers can easily accessBuddyDog wrote:I have about 9 MB of tabs for a lot of the So Cal jam list, so if you need them, shoot me an e-mail.
I have an 8 ohm Acme Low B2 bass cab (2x10 plus mid and tweeter). It's pretty compact, but I'll probably have to leave some other stuff home (e.g. Vibrochamp) to get it in my car. It's a great clean sounding cab, but is power hungry. Not sure Lefty's Baby Blue can push it. Recommended power is 400W+ (really). I have a G-K 1001 RBII head that I usually use with it. I can bring both head and cab if no one else has a bass rig to bring. We don't want a repeat of BARC I where we had to use an old PA for bass.kiramdear wrote:Sorry, I don't have a bass cab. I'm not even planning to bring an amp because my car is full with instruments.
That's the best offer we have so far. I have a Behringer 180 Watt combo with one 15' speaker. If I bring it in my compact car then some guitars have to stay home. Of course, we could combine both our rigs for some ric-o-sound fun.analogpackrat wrote:I have an 8 ohm Acme Low B2 bass cab (2x10 plus mid and tweeter). John (Dodecagon) -- thanks for your message and maybe you can make the trek down from Oregon on another occasion for the next Confluence.dodecagon wrote:Unfortunately I will not be able to join the festivities later this week. My slow reply was due to looking at all the possibilities, but I just can't quite swing it time-wise due to upcoming vacation time with the family.
I hope you all have a great jingle-jangle jam!
Best,

Hmmm. That sounds suspiciously like the PA rig we used a few years back. I'll just plan to bring my little rig. We want to hear those Rickenbasses loud and clear! If someone else can bring a little practice guitar amp for the display room I think I can cram everything else in my car.Lefty4001 wrote:Good news.
I spoke to the gentleman at Spectrum and they do have a rig that would work. He says it's been used by guitarists and bassists in the larger jam room. He didn't have details off the top of his head, but it's worked for others. It will be available as BARC is the only group using the rooms that day. $10 was the quote.
I'm still bringing my amp (for smaller room) and if I can wrangle something else, I will. But we have a solid plan B now.
Doug, I am bringing the little Vox DA-5 practice amp and Kira is bringing another small amp for the display room too, so that should cover that side of the Confluence activities.analogpackrat wrote: If someone else can bring a little practice guitar amp for the display room I think I can cram everything else in my car.
