It's never easy trying to work out the best way to restore a vintage instrument, but this is about as good as it gets from this Forum's perspective.
Kudos to all involved here, from the original decision making process on what to do, to the excellent execution by those who did...

Thanks for all the great comments! I love this bass! Her look and the way she plays is everything I'd hoped she would be when she arrived.
