Me too! 24 to 21? Can it be done?
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

Got another one of those tailpieces laying around your shop. I think it would look good on my 1997 LH MG. :D

For those of you who didn't see this on my Facebook page, here's the early stages of a doubleneck that I'm constructing from a recycled bass donor. It'll be a 4/6. Checkerboard binding and a very unusual paint finish.

It's for Al Cisneros of OM, and it's been slowly coming together over the last few months...

This is Graham's 4005/8 which I've had for a number of months. I built it two winters ago, from accurate drawings, with JH's permission (it is also recycled from a 4005 that was complete, but too far gone to restore). It was my first attempt at an 8-string 4005, and it had some issues, which I corrected when Graham returned it to me. It's received a new neck and had its paint matched. It's now nearly assembled and ready to ship!

Neck removal:

New neck in place, finished, partially reassembled:

Headstock, reinforced, with revised tuner spacing:

Jesus Padilla's 700C/12 is nearly ready for its last coat of varnish and buff...

The 340SF is nearly ready for paint, I've got a new 370 in for a new (wider) neck, the 1999 for Bryce is moving toward final paint, and I've got two white/black bound 4001s in for refins. And a really unique Art Bass project with hand-cast knobs and tuner keys, that's been in-process for a couple of years now.

Staying busy...

I'd really like to hear that 8 string 4005 when it's completed!
