Me playing live with my 72' through my YBA200 amp/cab about 2 months ago. I have since got a treble pickup cover and a era correct thumbrest from pickguardian.

Looks a lot like mine. Same greenish color. Is that white or black binding?

it has a very thin white (yellowed with age) pinstripe around the top edge. binding on edge of body is black, binding on the body is white.

Does it look like the white binding have been overpainted to black it out? My 84 have original white binding, but they overpainted it at the factory, ( something they did for a short period of time).

yes, it probably was painted over at the factory. to date, mine is the only one i've ever seen with the pinstripe which i assume was done at the factory.

Lars,

Are you familiar with the magazine Colossus? The Winter or Spring issue, I don't recall which, will have a compilation CD of NE Ohio bands in it. My band, Rare Blend, has one tune on it, one I wrote, called Illegal Aliens. There is some great music on it by all the bands represented on it.
