Wow- just went back and read all the threads to see what this was all about, cool story, you never forget your first rick, I got mine in 1978. Love the walnut and maple on the modern ricks. Anyway- looks like a beautiful woman got a beautiful guitar, congratulations.

Very nice guitar, Sheena. From all those who admire 650s but don't yet have one.
Far as waiting goes, I bought a 620 the first week of February and shipped it straight to Paul W.
We've been waiting for a part for a few weeks, which has given him extra time to make the finish even better.
But the gist of it is, he expects to ship it to me later this week.

Thanks, guys! Mark - coincidence or whatever, but you've got your first Rick exactly the year i was born...
(i still cannot get used to the fact that guitar can be played
that easily!)

Congrats Sheena!! Looks like a couple beauties there to me.
One thing though - keep playing your acoustic too, just to keep up your chops. If you neglect it too long you'll think it's impossible to play after being spoiled by the Ric for a while.

Hey Sheena- here's a pic of my first rick, you were one year old, I was 19. Times were good.

Thanx, Steve! And yes, i'll keep on playing my acoustic, too - in fact, i have no other choice!
Yeah, Mark. Times were good... as far as i remember

Yep the little angel turned out to be a punk rocker and a bona fide Rick chick to boot. Who would have figured that back then?
