Wondered if anyone's seen this...'You Can't Do That' was filmed for the concert scene in AHDN but cut because it didn't fit the image.
This has been included on the documentary The Making of A Hard Day's Night.

I know it's been discussed before so I didn't start a new thread, but CHECK THIS OUT

These guys are truly great. I especially like the "vest era" stuff they do (at Abbey Road no less!): Some Other Guy, From Me To You, Sit Right Down And Cry, Oh My Soul, Nothin' Shakin', I'm Talking About You, and To Know Her Is To Love Her (which is the majority of the videos). Where else can you find THAT stuff??
"George" is unfortunately tall for the job, but he has the parts down note for note.
If I could advise the band I'd have everyone else wear much taller heels than he does.
...or maybe they do that already, in which case the guy must be REALLY tall.

"...a small, unsmiling woman..." pretty accurate description of her, right?

RINGO: "The scene in 'A Hard Day's Night,' the one I got all the credit for was the walking by the canal with the camera-- the lonely guy scene-- That came about because I came to work, very unprofessionally, straight from a nightclub. And I was a little hungover to say the least, you know. I was just so out of it so they said, 'Let's do anything.' So my version of it was 'Just let me walk around and film me.' And why I look so cold and dejected is because I felt like heck. So, no acting going on there. I just felt so bad."

I don't know if it was them or another band, but I saw a vid of "Long Tall Sally" that they did, and the guy who portrayed George took over both solos, while the guy who played John remained on rhythm guitar. Didn't John play the first solo on "Long Tall Sally"?
