The "Good Morning" guitar track is just so awesome and mean sounding.

I highly recommend everyone who wants the full experience to download the entire set of MOGG files. Then you can kind of remix on the fly, really play around with things, and you can still extract individual tracks.

is it really japanese? I thought, it was "The Führer° speaking, although I cannot understand a word.
But it is clearly "guten Morgen" "ja" and "gut".
Good Morning is one of my favourites since 1967, but I never realized they turned to German.

if you are really sure that it's japanese, O.K.

But it's possible that (in this context -singing good morning in german- he ( John?) imitates Adolf Hitler . It starts with the "ja!" (yes) at 2:24)
saying something like " immer sei deu(tsch),(and maybe from another voice:) Männer" (something like "forever be (or stay) german, men"), or it is just fake german (immer, sei, tue, Männer). But, I am really not too sure about it. And I am just listening to the outtake, I have no background information about it.

But , if you say this is japanese,then I'm wrong .

Thanks for the tracks! I really do appreciate the time you've spent on these. You've given me practice material for the next few years

The bass on things like "You Never Give Me Your Money" is the best sounding bass on most of these tracks and, if it's the old Fender Jazz, then it's a better sounding bass than the old RIC. I hate to admit it because the truth can be painful. Ouch!

Since when could opinion be considered truth? It can be considered humorous, but never truth.

"Don't Let Me Down" vocals and "Don't Let Me Down" guitars and whatever you can get of Preston's piano, please.

An opinion COULD end up the truth and the more informed the opinion may be the more likely the opinion is the truth. In the words of Paul McCartney, "The truth can sometimes be painful". LOL! But, hey, I own and have played vintage RIC 4001 basses since 1979. Anytime I happened to pick up a vintage Fender Jazz or Precision bass I was always startled at how great they sounded. But, RICs are easier and more fun to play, along with Hofners.

It really doesn't sound like a jazz bass at all. That sounds like a typical vintage 4001 to me.

LOL! Hey, if you're right I'll be damned. But, it's got the deep low end and upper mids and missing the strong mids of an old RIC 4001 just like a Fender Jazz. Maybe it's my PC sub-woofer? LOL!

It sounds a lot like the chunky jazz bass, or what has been considered to be the jazz bass, on the White Album. Did McCartney play bass on You Never Give Me Your Money? I'm pretty sure Harrison played the bass part on Carry That Weight, so it would be possible he played the Fender VI on it. It's hard to say with Abbey Road. A lot of the bass parts on that album sound over driven and played with a heavy pick attack making it hard to say for certain what instrument was played on what song.

The better playing and sounding bass is all a matter of opinion. No matter what bass McCartney plays, he will always sound better than me

The Isolated bass tracks, which I'm assuming are McCartney, are blowing me away. There are notes that I thought were there that aren't and notes that I didn't know were there. You can hear a style coming thru where he'll hit a quick high note then jump right back down. He's really reaching trying hard breaking the standard old boring bass lines, yet exercises restraint as to not lose it all and remain tasteful. Squeezing blood out of simple 4 or 5 chord songs. Amazing!

Davy, I've had the same reaction....some parts I was over-playing while other parts I was just playing root notes when he was playing more complicated lines. This really is an education for me. I still can't believe how talented McCartney is....to join the band as a guitar player and seemingly switch to bass like it was nothing, not to mention playing those bass lines while singing lead!! Simply amazing.
