Brian, thanks I think it may be sold. Now
what do you know about the Vox Tone Lab?
Today GC has a sale between 7AM to 10AM with
another 10% off its a gift to myself.
This way I won't have to use my amp in my house.
Are they any good and does it change the sound
of my 350V63?

Kevin I just bought a new Computer
so buying a new guitar at this time
is on hold. The only way that I could
do it would be to sell my Gretsch and
my Steinberger for your 1997.

Kevin, yesterday I finally had my new computer
setup. I still don't email but I have a question
have you ever used a jangle box with your 1997?
I have never used one with my 350V63 also what
is the difference in sound between the 1997 and
the 350V63?

Lou, I don't recall trying the 1997 with a Janglebox. I use it mostly with my 12 strings.

I have never owned a 350V63 so I can't help there either.

I've just put down a deposit on a new 350V63 that I hope to have home by new years. I've been using a Janglebox with my 360/6, 360/12WB and 660/12 for a couple of years now and am looking forward to seeing how the 350 sounds on it. I'll let y'all know when I've had a chance. Post no. 1 for me but a long time reader a Ric fan. Had to sell my 660/12 to get the 350V63 but so be it.

Nice choice on the new guitar Dan. Sad the 660/12 had to go. I have both and they are both fantastic instruments. The 350V63 has been my go to guitar since I bought it. However I just recently picked up a 2003 620/6JG and it is very quickly becoming a favorite.

Thank you all for the kind welcome. The new 350V63 is Jetglo, as is my '94 360/12WB. My '02 360/6 is Fireglo as was the '04 660/12. Next up on my wish list is a 330/6 in Midnight Blue or Azure...then maybe a 4000 series bass...then...then..Well, you all know how it goes!

Yep! We all know how it goes! It's known as R.A.S.
Nice color choice Dan, my '90 350 Liverpool is Jetglo and my '05 360/6 is Fireglo as well!
Have a great Christmas all!

Yesterday I was over to my friend's house and
he needed some help in moving his Vox Amp.
His Amp had fell over and I had to pick it
up for him. This Vox Amp is a little different
he bought it from Music Ground in England. I
didn't bring my 350V63 because he has a 330 in
Fireglow. The Vox Amp that I'm talking about is
the ( Vox Supreme )its on page 64 from the book
the Vox Story. I had said to him should he want
to sell it that I would buy it from him. I have to go back there next weekend and I will bring
my 350V63 to play thru the Amp. Does anyone
here on this board have an Amp like that? This
Amp has 4-12 and its piggyback and very loud.
I'm going to try to get some pictures of my
350V63 and the (Supreme) together and then I'll
post them.

HELP ME.... I'M ABOUT TO TAKE THE PLUNGE!!!

I have two 360's and one 620/12.... and now am on the verge of getting a 350. I'd like to find a Monty Brown but will get Mapleglo otherwise.

My questions have to do with the toaster PUs. I'm sure this has been addressed lots of times before but if someone could help I'd appreciate it.

If I were to just get one on-line, like this ....

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Rickenbacker-350V63-Electric-Guitar?sku=513653

"Vintage reissue single-coil shielded pickups"
"Type of Pickups Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top"

which toasters are these? 7.4's? others? Should I be happy with what this guitar comes with? Should I be looking elsewhere?

I know the subject of swapping out for a high-gain or two is a whole other subject... but any and all comments and/or toaster summaries are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ps: either the Monty or the Mapleglo will eventually get gold plastic. oh ya, gotta do it!
Anyone know of a 350/6 Monty for sale?
