One observation I've made is that the wide neck is probably great for people who play really bendy leads.... Maybe if I keep trying, my attempts at leads won't sound so awful, LOL! Image

The wide fingerboard also works great for those of us with 30 years of bass callouses on our fingertips. Image Let's see a pic or two!

Jeff, I'm still rushing to the front door every time I hear a truck drive past. Fingers crossed I will be strumming the 660 later today.

Aitch, we're on for the Monday of the long weekend. Let's talk on the phone tonight?

Cool, you bought a new van! What's with the UPS logo?

Don't forget, Darren - FORTY EIGHT HOURS! Image

Gents, you must remember we don't suffer the same weather and humidity extremes here. This baby has been in constant 75 degree temperature for the past three days. Thanks for caring though Image

I must make mention of some great friends, who each helped me obtain this beautiful instrument.

John H, thanks for your personal touch and for producing the 75th Anniversary models. Not that I needed convincing, but this guitar is first class in every respect. For a vintage nut who never buys new, I'm sold. You got me Image

Eric B, what a great paint job mate. Superb.

Paul W, the pickguard and truss rod cover really make this guitar special. Well done.

Chris Clayton from POTR, it is always a pleasure doing business with you.

Most of all I'd like to thank my dear friend Dave Pascoe. While I was touring the US, immediately after the RIC 75th party, orders were being taken for the Anniversary models. Although Dave was unable to reach me, he took a chance that I would want an Anniversary model and ordered one for me. Dave took care of the transaction on my behalf and I'm very grateful to him. I'm sure I'm the only guitarist in the whole of the Southern Hemisphere with 75th 660.

Woooohooo!!! ImageImageImage
