Actually, the camera does most of the work, I just set the focus to Macro and off we go. Truth be told I could use a better camera, and i've been setting money aside for a nice DSLR.
Random pic to go with that comment.

Canon!!! And not a Rebel series, either.

I still love my 30D even if it is may be a bit out of date, and the L series zooms lenses are wonderful, especially my 70-200/4 USM IS.

Here's a pic of the harness on mine, you can see the small .0047 cap in place.
DId they use different ones, I remember my 480 had dark, orange ones, not anywhere as light yellow as yours? :?:

My '73 and '75 didn't have the cap but I put one in both. But the previous owners probably took them out. Some people didn't like them, would take them out and discard them, and put the shunts in. Keeping with the Thread's theme, here's a pic of my two babies playing outside. :)

Ok, here are some pictures from today, Sunday, about Noon, on a very overcast day outside. The 480 with new shiny screws, new chome High Gain ring, new foam mounting pad, the original selector switch from the original wiring harness and as much of the grime and sticker residue removed, as possible, with Zymol. :D

FYI that I played out last Sunday with my 480 MG and after the show a guy came up to the stage and said "That is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen!". Can't say I disagree. :D
