It was a comment from someone (can't remember who, it may have even been from a celeb--it was someone who had a chance to handle it) that said the action wasn't all too well, the neck angle was somewhat compromised as many of them have turned out over the years. Not a warp of the neck but the neck pulling up at the joint toward the top...some people call it 'curling'.

At any rate, there is supposedly someone in the UK who has a steam-press method that could possibly get it back into spec without removing or re-setting the neck..... YMMV....

In those side-profile pics of the guitar, it looks like there is some lift to the neck, but the string height and bridge height don't look too bad in the close-ups that you took of the guitar....

It's a shame I'm not going to Los Angeles until the summer! :(

I think it's too late to do anything about it now, but if I bought the app I would be disappointed that some angles are "glared-out" and appear white. If all the lighting was consistent for every shot, it would have more of a "virtually being there" effect.

The better question is: Dhani Harrison has available contact info?

I don't think Greg was suggesting we contact Dhani, I think he was suggesting that he would ask him himself... maybe I'm wrong.

It appears that George has the tailpiece on backwards. That or Mal Evans put it on backwards...someone did!

Just in case anyone is interested in the other guitars in the Museum..forgot to ask them to turn off the lights.

Here's Rocky under a Black Light. The day-glo paint still pops out back at ya. It 'really' felt like the 60's again!

I went to visit this exhibit on Saturday. It was very well done, the Grammy museum as a whole was great and seeing the George display was the obvious highlight.

Man, his 360 is pretty beat up in person. Always looked better in photos, but that thing has been around the block..

Was is wear in certain spots or just marks from not having a case?

I'm no forensic detective, but they looked like they were from years decades of daily use and worldwide touring.

There is a sizeable crack from the soundhole and various dings to the surface, on the upper horn (not going through the finish). Also, the action was rather high, confirming the bad neck angle (which is hard to see from the glass case). Cool though, regardless of the condition.

I wonder if they would ever fix that neck angle?
